Greetings Traveller, 
 

While I've always been making small films by myself, No Place Like Home is the first short I've made in which I believe I had an actual, well, proper understanding of film. As such you could imagine I haven't directed enough films to solidify my auteurship. But nevertheless, I have a strong understanding of how and what I want to innovate in film, throughout my future career. Personally I see film as a way to communicate greater ideas to audiences. Through narratives and techniques that could tell more than an essay ever could. I don't like films having a morale, or telling the audiences the 'right' way to look at something. I just want to make analytical, artistic films which present a question or idea to an audience, and encourage them to think about them.
